In ancient times, Talea was a unified empire ruled by the legendary emperor who made it possible for humans and Animon to coexist. After his death, however, the empire split into two ideologically opposed halves: Logos in the north, and Mythos in the south.
The conflict ended only recently, but its scars still weight heavily on today's political landscape, and citizens from both faction continue to hold grudges against one another.
