How to Play

Wild Animon can be found throughout Talea—in grassy plains, caves, and water! When you encounter a wild Animon, you can throw the Holoken in an attempt to catch it or engage in battle against it. Upon hitting the Animon after throwing the Holoken, a QTE for the catching sequence will begin that will increase the catch rate the better you become at it! In battle, weakening the Animon by reducing its HP becomes fundamental to substantially increase the catch rate. Furthermore, by choosing the most fitting kind of Bilia to catch an Animon, you'll maximise your chances to obtain it!

Your Animon grow stronger by obtaining experience. As they level up, they learn new moves and may even evolve into more powerful forms. Make use of the Stat Points obtained each level to boost your Animon stats to the fullest! Train your team strategically—some Animon excel at physical attacks, while others specialize in special attacks or defense. The Animon are your faithful companions in your journey throughout Talea, so remember to care for them and nurture their growth!

Challenges through Talea are present everywhere, in the form of battles! Animon battles are action-based—each action you take allows you to use a skill, switch Animon, use an item, flee from wild encounters or pass it to regain some SP. Once all actions in a Turn Cycles have been taken, the Turn Cycle updates with the new speed information. In LumenTale, creating your own strategy matters the most. Make sure that you create a team that works well together, and prove you're the strongest in Talea!

In LumenTale, you can play with your friends and other Lumen all over the world! You can battle against them in intense 4v4 battles, or trade your Animon with them to complete your collection! By interacting with others, you might make a part of their story your own as you're discovering the truth about your journey through Talea!
