The World of Talea
Talea is a region distinguished by incredible cultural diversity, yet with very ancient origins. Mythos and Logos, the two main hemispheres of the region, actively vie to prove which is superior to the other.
Nevertheless, in ancient times Talea was united under a single empire, which embodied the values of both Mythos and Logos. To this day, the golden age of Talea is considered to have been during the reign of its first emperor, who brought an era of peace through his rule.

Nipo
Nipo is the Captain of Costa Linda, a port city in the Mythos region known for its tough sailors and its overly friendly - yet fiercely competitive - sports culture. In a place where the passion for Lumen and the Match binds the community together, Nipo carries the weight of his city's expectations as he strives to bring the squadron back to being the best in all of Talea.

Max
Max is a Lumen from one of Talea's most prominent squadrons. A friend of Kapan, he quickly notices the potential in Trey and guides him through his first steps toward becoming a Lumen. Max believes that Lumen should be fierce and strong in appearance to project confidence in the hearts of the people, which is why he trains his own body as rigorously as he trains his Animon.

Kapan
Kapan is one of the leading figures behind Anivis and Animon research in Talea, and his talent for inventions has earned him support and founding by the AARI. Although still not widespread, his latest creation, the Anispace, promises a bright future for Lumen operations around the world.
Iris Hamlet
Moka
Moka is Ales' companion and best friend. Found broken in the Scarlet Woods under mysterious circumstances, it is now functional again thanks to Ales' ingenuity and determination — though not without a few changes from its original form. Don't let its robotic nature fool you: Moka can display emotions through the LED strips on its face, and is unwaveringly devoted to Ales and his friends.

Ales
Ales is Kapan's nephew, who fostered him after the accident that claimed his parents. This tragedy left Ales with a deep disdain for Animon and Lumen. Even so, he greatly admires his uncle and his craft: by watching Kapan work on his projects, Ales began to pick up the trade himself. His talent in building and repair is what allowed him to repair Moka, a damaged robot that he found in the Scarlet Woods.

Trey
Trey is a cyborg and the main character of the story. He was found unconscious in the Scarlet Woods by Ales, who brought him to Kapan's laboratory. Trey has no memories of his past, but upon learning about Lumen and Animon, Trey feels a strange sense of familiarity with the Holoken — the most essential tool for a Lumen. After a series of events, he decides to become a Lumen and embarks on a journey across Talea, hoping to uncover the truth about himself.

Nada
Nada is Blanco's daughter, and he dotes on her constantly. Over time, this has caused her to grow into a rather demanding child who expects a great deal from everyone. Beneath her spoiled behaviour, however, lies a warm heart and a strong sense of justice, which often leads her into dangerous situations.

Julia
Julia is a woman from Iris Hamlet with ambitions of becoming a top-tier Lumen Manager - the person responsible for supporting a Lumen Squadron, coordinating their tasks and managing their public image. After her plans fell through, she returns to Iris Hamlet, where she crosses path with Trey, a fledgling Lumen whose potential she immediately recognizes as her chance of making it big.

Anne is the Captain of Voltar, a city in the Logos region defined by its devotion to entertainment and showmanship, and she is the Lumen who best embodies this way of life. Beloved by all as the Voltar's idol, she has made it her mission to keep everyone's spirits light and joyful, even during the most disheartening of times.

Blanco is the Founder and CEO of the AARI, an organization whose mission is to support Lumen across Talea: the AARI provides dedicated resting stations for all Lumen in the form of Lumen Clubs, as well as mediatory support between Talea's northern and southern factions, Logos and Mythos, which are often at odds with each other. Blanco himself deeply believes in his company's mission, a conviction fueled by his extensive knowledge of Talea's history.
